When starting out as a designer, I found lots of stuff difficult to get my head around when trying to design stuff, I knew what I wanted it to look like in my head but transferring that image to screen was the problem. So, I use to search for video tutorials on You Tube but found a lot of the tutorials were hard to follow, either being to fast or there wasn’t any description, various different reasons. Anyway after sifting through lots of terrible tutorials I found 2 website to be extremely helpful and thought I would I would give them the credit they are due and tell people about them, anyway here they are enjoy

Video copilot is the missing jigsaw piece, this is probably the best free online tutorial site I have come across! Its solely for Adobe After Effects, and it has pretty much everything you need to get to a very competent skill level of After Effects, teaching you everything from creating a simple vector shape to producing your own on screen explosion like you see in the movies! The best thing about it is its perfect for beginners, I started on this site not even knowing what after effects did and now I’m working on real life briefs in after effects!
